THE MAIN HOUSE
Originally a fortress in the 1200s, what is now the Main House was transformed during the 15th century, hosting many artists and pilgrims on the route from Perugia to Florence during the Renaissance. The plasterwork, stairs, floors and vaults have all been renovated to preserve the historic character, while updated with modern amenities. The house has 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. All rooms have stunning views of the garden and surrounding countryside.

Central Staircase
Connecting all the rooms is the central staircase - a portal to another time. As you ascend the centuries old stairs, you can’t help but marvel at the myriad footsteps and conversations that passed through this corridor before your own. Fully decorated in shades of rose, taupe, and ochre in the style of the time, we also commissioned beautiful anatomical sketches drawn in Terra of Siena to adorn the walls, -echoing Leonardo da Vinci’s own notebooks.
